There is a lot of things to counter mass BCs. Most effective and funnier is Neural parasite.

If they go t3+bc it means you will get middle lane + destroy their first defense and you will be higher in income.

When the first bc spawn you can kill them easily with t1/t2 unit (marines and/or viking) and be ready spawn t3 unit.

Ofc mass bc + siege tank will kill marines but you are talking about terran most expensive unit + most expensive upgrade.
You wont face this kind of army after 10mn.

As a terran you can counter them like this :
-marines + viking then switch to bc. emp to counter yamato when you get your own bc.

As protoss it's easy void ray > bc . It costs less and you wont get hit by yamato cannon.
Don't spawn carrier or back them up with high templar to remove bc energy.

As zerg get corruptor + infestation/infested marine (don't remember the name of the unit with these abilities).
Or second choice, ignore air, focus on mass ground unit like zergling and finish the game faster than he spawn his bc.

Well Mass BCs is though to counter tbh, thanks to high armoud, DPS, yamato cannon and a few siege tanks can clear up marines etc pretty hard.

What I found out today thought, if it's 3v2 mass BCs fricken own. So the 2 always own everyone else cus their money makes it easy to get loads out. Sad

I'm actually starting to agree that BC is too strong. The recent queen nerf makes them unstoppable vs zerg now. A shame.

Hmmm, I think BC may indeed be a bit overpowered. Of course it's hard to tell with 2 allies, but I have yet to lose a game playing as Terran with a good mix of Marines, Vikings and BCs.

IMO the main problem is with Zerg vs Terran. Zerg only has Corruptors, Mutas, Queens, Infestors and Hydras. None of them do splash damage against air. But the main problem is that ground forces don't scale well since they take up space while BCs don't. Corruptors are ok but they don't add firepower to your army against ground forces.

well i think is quiet vunnerable to mass viklings the vikigs have much more range than the bc and even if the enemy build more you have quiet good chances if you just do more vikings and do not forget to tech up fast. Some own bc as dmg interzeptor are later neesary

The Key is the scouting if you have mass ress over and still beat the enemy army hard you should know some thing big will come like thors or bc. Yust do save your money up and see what comes!!!!!

you will not be so fast enough that you could kill the pf before that even if you push hard with a mmt build

In case he comes with bc do fist all your money in vikings you should get 5/bc or more depens on how long the other save up the most get 2 at once out( like to the other "suprise surprise" Twisted Evil ). The most guy do 2 more bc before they see that they will not win this way most guy do thor then some bc and marouder schould be your choice then the bc prevent the thor from attaking the vikings right after the start and the marouder kill the thor and the vikings have some time to kill the bc well for yamato i say emp or feed back by toss but the feedback only hits one

well i will stick to english even my german are better so everybody can read it^^

I'm sorry to disappoint you but mass BC can be easily countered by any race. You probably had played against noobs.

BC's can become a nightmare if you have a lot of them (carriers more so), because stalkers/marines don't stutter-step under them, instead they form a circle around them and in bigger battles a lot of the ground units get stuck behind each other and can't attack all at once.

Anti-air units that fly tend to clump up, so they aren't exactly a perfect solution to them either.

Queens and Thors dominate air due to their extended range, it's protoss that struggles the most from this issue. Especially when ravens get involved (PDD is so effective against stalkers).

The scout suggestion for protoss was a good one.

I understand your feeling. In some pub game I also faced a full house terran team and 3 bc armies!

You need time to kill BC and they tend to stack a lot! Also consider that Protoss have no AA and zerg can only answer with hydra+infestor +corruptor (i never use them).

The easiest way to pwn mass BC is....... to hope they built 3 raf instead of yours 2!!!!

well, normally mass marines + a few medivacs should own mass bcs, they are too expensive

but i'm not 100% sure that bcs aren't overpowered so i should play a gamve vs you, how about sunday? maybe around 18(or 19:00, 20:00 whatever) UTC ?

I have never seen anyone go mass marine and medivac. The game I played against yesterday, the initial wave I faced was marine/medivac/viking and I owned that. Marines are not the answer - yes, they are good against the BC, but the BCs will last long enough for your allies to catch up with something that owns marines.

mass marines will pwn you (just an example) stim + medivacs = all bcs are gone
maybe add a frew ravens (they splash, thats really effective vs air units with the same range, they go on top of each other)

As terran it is impossible to lose by teching fast to Tier 3 and spamming Battlecruisers for the rest of the game. The first player to solidly produce battlecruisers wins. I have never, ever lost playing this strategy.

Essentially it goes like this:

...etc etc
